Ibiza is a magical island that, apart from the commercial areas, has an irresistible spirit to it. Hippie markets, mystical sunsets, extraordinary yet traditional restaurant, Balearic flair, an enchanting natural landscape, and of course great electronic music.
Sabine has got you covered when it comes to where to try the tastiest food, watch the most spectactular sunsets and listen to the sickest beats. So, tune in for some insider tipps, that will turn your trip to Ibiza into one heck of an experience!
Dive into the world of one of the first hotels on the island. Hacienda Na Xamena was built in the 70s and now is one of the favourites of superstars like Robin Schulz & football star Sergio Ramos. Built on the cliffs and seamlessly embedded into the natural landscape, the view from the pool leaves you speechless. Every room of this 5* hotel has its own jacuzzi, either in the room or outside on the terrace. Welcome to heaven!
Start your day right and energize with an outdoor yoga session. Prepare for the day and enjoy the nature. Deep breath in, full breath out. The enchanting nature of Ibiza has an irresistible spirit that provides you with power and a great energy for the day.
A wonderful day on the island also starts with a proper and healthy breakfast at Passion Café. My favourite: avocado toast with poached eggs, tumeric latte and an Açaí bowl, yummy! The café has already six locations on the island, so no struggling to find this gem! By the way, have you read our story on how to make the perfect Green Smoothie Bowl? For a summer-ish start into your day, everyday!
Get your tan on one of Ibiza’s magnificent beaches. The island offers many hidden treasures apart from the popular beach clubs and overcrowded bays. Some of them need a short hike to get there, but the reward afterwards is pure beauty, peace and a fantastic energy. Don’t miss THE single one most beautiful sunset on the island. The view towards Es Vedrà offers a fantastic scenery from the cliff on the mainland. The famous island of Es Vedrà is said to be a mystical place where a monk lived for many years. Grap a picknick basket and enjoy a glass of wine while the day comes to an end.
The island offers a great variety of healthy fresh food and local specialities such as seafood and vegetables. Many restaurants on the island cook with ingredients from local farms, creating a special taste. Two of my favourite restaurants are located in the Old Town: Taller de Tapas and El Portalon. Taller de Tapas is a super cosy place. The interior, setting and environment is designed like a private dining place where you can see the chef doing his magic in front of you. Everything's on point, local and fresh.
Ibiza is the party hot spot for electronic music. Café del mar, Pacha and DJs like Sven Väth grew big. Every day you have countless great opportunities to party: Heart Ibiza, Ushuaïa, Privilege, DC10 and many more.
