Let's start with my favorite restaurants in this beautiful city. Mama Trattoria is an amazing place to go for pizza and the best Avocado salad in town. The restaurant ambiance is reminicent of a typical italian way of life and is the perfect spot to take beautiful photographs.
Another amazing restaurant is ‘Atelier F‘ which you can find at Jungernsteig in Hamburg. It's really close to the Hamburg canals and I just love its beautiful interior, such as it’s colorful walls, little hidden doors and spots to hang out and enjoy the view of the canals, as well as it‘s yummy food such as salmon burgers, truffle fries and homemade lemonade.
If you're into good coffee and amazing ‘Instagram worthy‘ waffles or Avocado toast, Nord Coast Roastery is your place to be. The interior is an absolutely stunning combination of modern and vintage pieces. You can sit close to the canals and can even see the ‘Elbphilharmonie‘.
Shoot action! As Bench kindly sponsored this amazing trip, we shot an editorial piece for them with a Hamburg based photographer faded.photo. He showed us the perfect spots with amazing backgrounds and scenery. Especially the Speicherstadt with its typical canals and stone brick buildings, and Hamburg port was worth a visit. If you’re into photography, you should definitely also check out the Hamburg townhall.
If partying, crazy people, tons of bars and neon lights are your thing, the Hamburg Reeperbahn is your dream come true. It almost felt a bit like Las Vegas with all the crazy artists, loud music and bright neon lights. We changed our coffee shop hopping into bar hopping and enjoyed the special magic until 4am.
